Husqvarna Automower 310 Mark II – replaces the Husqvarna 310

What is the Husqvarna 310 Mark II?

A new 2022 model from Husqvarna that replaces the Automower 310. It is a robot lawn mower that is suitable for private gardens and mows simple to complex areas reliably.

What differences does it have from the Automower 310 (model 2021)?

The new model Husqvarna 310 Mark II now has a weather timer and a frost sensor. The area outputhas also been improved. This is now 60 m²/h compared to 56 m²/h for the Automower 310.

Frost sensor

The Husqvarna 310 Mark II has a useful sensor that detects the temperature just before you start mowing and then every hour. If the temperature is below the limit of 3 °C, the robot mower remains in the charging station or reverses to prevent damage to the frosty ground.

Weather timer

Thanks to the weather timer, the Husqvarna Automower 310 Mark II can set a mowing frequency that is optimally adapted to the grass growth in the garden. This way the robot grass cutter mows less during dry periods and more when it rains. In this way, the lawn receives exactly the care it needs.

Passage detection

There is a special passage detection feature that enables the Automower 310 Mark II to mow through independently and efficiently. The robot lawn mower adapts its navigation to the conditions and skilfully negotiates narrow paths. Even places in the garden that are difficult to access can be reached easily in this way.

What should I pay attention to when I use the Automower 310 Mark II?

A boundary wire is used to define the working area. This must be laid on the ground and fixed with wire pegs before the mower can be used. Alternatively, a small furrow can be made ( max. 3-4 cm deep) and the wire is laid in.

The grass is shortened a little with each run. This is done by means of a rotating cutter disc and 3 sharp blades. The cut grass falls to the ground as mulch and naturally adds fertiliser and moisture to the lawn.

How can I control the Husqvarna 310 Mark II?

You can operate the Husqvarna robot lawn mower either via the display on the top of the mower or via Automower Connect@Home, a Bluetooth-based app.

Automower Connect@Home

The Connect@Home module allows you to control the Automower 310 Mark ii via a Bluetooth connection with a smartphone. To be able to use this option, it is important that there is a small distance between you and the Automower.

In order to take full advantage of all the app’s features, such as control on the move, theft alarm and GPS-based navigation, this model would need to be upgraded with an optional Automower Connect module.

Lawn mowing that’s safe and fully automatic!

The Automower 310 Mark ii is equipped with theft protection and a PIN code. If the robot lawn mower’s position changes due to lifting or tilting, lift and tilt sensors are activated, causing the blades to stop. In case the Husqvarna robot mower encounters an obstacle, the direction of travel is changed and mowing continues on a different path.

What is important to know about installation and operation?

The Husqvarna Automower 310 Mark II is operated and programmed via an user-friendly display with graphical menu guidance. Once set up, the robot grass cutter carries out its mowing job fully automatically according to the set mowing times.
